Bobby and the rest of the Live Love Run team want to thank you again for all of your support in 2008. You can't know what a difference you made in Bobby's fight against cancer. After over 40 radiation treatments, nutrition/alternative therapies, and chemotherapy, my dad is cancer free!
He has not been able to swallow for a year but he is hopeful that there will be a procedure available in the future that will help him regain that ability. Until then, he makes do with a feeding tube. Bobby's strength has grown considerably over the course of the year. He has been golfing and is working on projects around his house - truly embracing this second chance at life!
This has been a challenging year and while we had hoped to hold the race again in 2009, it is with heavy hearts that we have made the decision to take this year off and set our sights on 2010.
